Introduction
In Scotland, CSCB refers to The Committee of Scottish Bankers, the representative body for the four Scottish clearing banks, serving as the collective voice of the Scottish banking industry. I was commissioned to create a multimedia feature for their website that showcased the unique characteristics of each Scottish banknote in the form of an interactive quiz. The aim was to educate users—particularly traders—on how to identify genuine notes, thereby reducing the risk of fraud. I chose to develop the project in Adobe Flash, a platform now (some would say regrettably) obsolete and replaced by HTML5. This was a comprehensive, end-to-end project in which I carefully managed every stage of the design and development process. The visual design went through several iterations in Photoshop, while the multimedia and interactivity were built in Flash using its Actionscript programming language.
